Because of its regenerative potential, cord blood is often valued as a miracle cure. Basically, cord blood is the blood taken from the umbilical cord of a newborn baby, which is a rich source of stem cells. Many medical researchers believe that stem cells can provide us with treatment and cures for several diseases.
Based on some research, stem cells that are found in cord blood can cure diseases such as type1 diabetes, brain damage, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease, among others. In some cases, stem cells were also believed to be responsible for successfully curing several types of blood cancers and showed improvements in children diagnosed with type I diabetes.
